With so much to do in the Collingwood area you may be wondering where to start for fun activities for all the family. Why not check out the beautiful resort of Blue Mountain at www.bluemountainvillage.ca. and see what they have to offer in addition to the free activities being held there throughout the winter season.
You can go skating on the Mill Pond, at the base of Blue Mountain and just a short walk from the Westin Trillium Hotel. Opening hours are 10am to 10pm – skates may be rented from the skate hut on site, and skates, helmets and scooters are available from Activity Central which is located in the Clock Tower building nearby.
For something a little different, why not join the Guided Snowshoeing with Columbia @Blue. A guide will meet you outside the main Columbia store in the Village Plaza each weekend just before10.30am – bring water and wear layers and get ready for a new adventure as you explore the trails around Blue Mountain.
A treasure hunt will always delight the children (and burn off some of their boundless energy!!) – all you need to do is collect your clue sheet from Activity Central and off you go….
