After achieving my goal of becoming a Diamond Level producer for Royal LePage in 2013, I knew I wanted collaboration going forward, but I needed the right people. After working informally with a friend and colleague, Julia Apblett, in 2014 and again achieving Diamond level production, I decided to explore the team concept as a model for growth in service and sales, and a way to reach that next level.
Once again, I needed the right people. Building a team would take a group of professionals that know this diverse region well, know real estate well, and would be able to offer an unmatched real estate experience for clients in Collingwood, The Blue Mountains, and surrounding areas. A few months later the Chris Keleher Team was formed, including Julia Apblett, who was already working informally with me at times, and LeeAnn Matthews, another friend and colleague, and an award winner herself for several years. The final piece was Wendy Emmett, a Collingwood area expat, who had recently relocated full time to the area and moved her real estate licence to Collingwood, after several years enjoying the area as a weekender. These three outstanding members all brought a skill set and a personality that would benefit the whole team and promote growth. With my assistant at the time, Debbie Bullock on board, the Team was set and it was time to lace up the skates and get to work!
No need to bore you with the minor details, but the overall objective was to create a people driven service and an unmatched marketing plan, in order to raise the level of service to everyone the Team engaged with, and to make sure it fell in line with the concept of “Real Estate Done Differently”. One of our goals at the onset was to achieve Royal LePage National Chairman’s Club status, and become part of the Top 1% for Royal LePage in Canada. We set off to raise the bar of real estate service and marketing, and create amazing experiences for our clients. Constantly going above and beyond, putting an outstanding team approach to work, we grew as the year progressed. With the addition early in the year of our new and amazing Team Administrator, Sandie Lloyd, we were destined for success!
We’re the first to ever achieve Chairman’s Club status at Royal LePage in Collingwood! We are now recognised as part of an elite group of Realtors at the top 1% of Sales Reps and brokers out of over 16,000 agents with Royal LePage across Canada. This being a National award, we are competing against agents from across the country, and many in the very large urban and suburban areas, with much higher sales volume, sales prices and demand. Our entire Team is very proud of our accomplishment this past year, and we intend reach even higher levels in 2016.
The Team moves into 2016 with the bar raised even higher, and we aim to raise production by 30%, and add a few new tools to our already outstanding service model. Watch us throughout the year as we add new Team members and continue to offer service unmatched by our competition. With everything we offer, it is difficult enough for our competition to match the marketing tools, service and knowledge, but the one thing we have that will always set us apart is the right people. You won’t find a better group of people to work with in our area. You can’t beat the people, and you can’t beat the experience.
