Bucket List: Eigensinn Farm, Singhampton

“Wow” say foodies of Michael Stadtländer’s “splurge”-worthy French cooking at his Singhampton farmhouse 160 km (100 miles) from Toronto where the “upscale”, “over-the-top” fare makes it “bucket-list” material; devotees concede the “price is nuts”, but still say it’s “well worth” the cost and drive, especially after the “amazing” service is factored in; P.S. “bring your own wine and bug spray.”

Michael and Nobuyo Stadtlander’s unique establishment was judged the ninth best restaurant in the world by Restaurant Magazine, a British biweekly read by foodie insiders. No website, but you should Google for interesting articles.
